PS Speer may seem hard on his students, but i think they need it because what he's sharing is so counterintuitive that its so easy to gloss over.
yikes, he sounded nervous as hell! big props for having the balls to approach, but yeah, those girls were hot and a TOUGH sell. starting with "i'd be kicking myself if i didn't..." is too obvious a come on. you're flirting Before building any interest whatsoever? i thought rule 1 was not to. the bold approach works well if you're so comfortable in your own skin that you're basically inviting her in.
ReplyDeletethis guy did a great job remembering the material and using it quickly, so as to not hold the girls up too long. referring to poker as emotional? if these girls work here, they'll know right away that his "i play poker professionally" must be a lie by his nervous pokerface. prove me wrong otherwise, but my bet is the number she gave was fake, because she asks her friend unrelated questions before giving it out. basically, "is this guy ok?" if she was half-interested she'd have blurted out her number, even if regretting it later.
ultimately, this is great material to prove that even the toughest hotties won't be rude to talk to. just put yourself out there and try to keep convo interesting. long, you're right, the "i thought you were going to say we were sisters" was a dead give-away that she's heard ALL the tricks. at that point, it all comes down to innergame. keep talking like you're still unsure if you even think they're worthy of asking their numbers.
